Our experience includes:

  • Advising an international developer on the acquisition of project rights, planning and grid advice and full due diligence on multiple 50MW+ subsidy free solar PV ground mount with co-located battery schemes
  • Advising a developer in respect of borehole heat networks for new residential housing developments, including property due diligence, providing bespoke ground loop leases with  amendments to existing residential property documentation and service agreements with each of the dwelling owners for the provision and supply of heat
  • Providing a bespoke suite of documents including power purchase agreements and charging service level agreements for a client to facilitate the deployment of a fleet of electric buses
  • Supporting landowners on the deployment of various stand-alone battery projects on their land ranging in size from 50MW to 250MW
  • Advising a fund on the deployment of multiple rooftop solar PV schemes with blue-chip corporate PPA offtakers
  • Advising developer Mi-Grid Energy Ltd on full due diligence for a 15MW three turbine wind project in Devon and Cornwall requiring nine easements, a bespoke connection agreement, a power purchase agreement and subsequent disposal to a fund
  • Acting for a lender in relation to a £2m project financing of a wind farm in Gloucester, which included full due diligence on turbines imported from outside Europe
  • Acting for multiple landowners in respect of co-located battery & solar PV projects as well as new wind projects in Wales
  • Acting for generators in relation to RHI/FIT subsidy and accreditation disputes with Ofgem including taking complaints to the PHSO
  • Advising community energy groups in the deployment of local hydro projects.
