Kia is a Solicitor Apprentice in the Rural Property and Energy team based in Exeter.

She started her legal career with Stephens Scown, joining the firm in 2019. Kia is finishing her Law degree through the Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme and will be undertaking the SQE in 2027.

Her rural property work covers a wide range of agricultural transactions including:

• Farm and land sales
• Purchases
• Refinances
• Landed estates
• Farm business tenancies

Kia also assists with renewable energy projects, supporting on the property aspects of renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV (large and small scale), EV and battery. She has experience with due diligence on renewable energy projects and dealing with option agreements and leases.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, gardening, and yoga.
