Helen Wallwork

Partner

Helen joined the firm in 2017 and is a partner in our corporate team. She specialises in the healthcare sector and has acted for a wide range of different clients, including GP practices and veterinary practices, dental and care home groups, and also GP out of hours and other providers of healthcare services.

In terms of her general corporate experience, Helen qualified in January 2004 and pre-dominantly works for SMEs on, in particular, mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings, joint ventures, governance advice and general commercial matters.  She has expertise in acting for family businesses and in advising on partnership matters, particularly in the rural sector.

Her experience includes:

  • providing structural, governance and commercial advice to county-wide GP provider companies
  • acting on acquisitions and disposals to and from hospital trusts
  • advising on GP practice mergers and other health sector collaborations
  • being part of vendor panels for acquisitive groups in the dental and veterinary sectors
  • acting on the multi-million pound sale of a college for students with learning disabilities, with on-site accommodation and care services

Helen’s young daughter keeps her busy but when she finds spare time she enjoys walking the South West coast path and reading.
