Gavin Poole


Gavin is a partner in the corporate team based in Truro.  He started his professional career in a magic circle firm in the City of London.  He is a partner in the firm’s corporate department.  Prior to studying law, Gavin obtained a BA (Hons) in French and Portuguese (which he still uses today). Gavin qualified in December 1994 and joined Stephens Scown in 2014.

Gavin leads our specialist food and drink team in Cornwall.

Gavin has recently completed six years on the board of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership.  During that time he chaired the Enterprise Zone Board, the Space Steering Committee and the Audit Committee.  Gavin was also a member of the Nominations Committee.

Gavin continues to serve as an elected trustee of Chapel Street Methodist Church, Penzance.

Away from work Gavin enjoys being outdoors, fishing, swimming, rowing, camping, singing and rugby.
