Wave and tidal energy

As the world moves away from fossil fuels to cleaner, renewable energies, the UK is uniquely positioned to benefit from the transition. With some of the best wave and tidal energy resources in the world, state of the art testing facilities and technical experience, the UK offers major commercial opportunities in a range of marine energy projects.

With that potential on our doorstep, it’s crucial to call upon the legal expertise of a firm immersed in the sector and used to handling a range of cases for local authorities, wave and tidal energy companies, contractors, developers, funders and investment managers.

We advised the South West Regional Development Agency on setting up Wave Hub -test sites and support for wave and tidal energy developers. We are able to provide advice to all key stakeholders involved in the supply chain, funding, development, acquisition and sale of wave and tidal energy assets. We have been at the forefront of providing legal advice in respect of renewable energy projects and are able to offer this advice to the UK marine energy sector.
