Stephen is a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Exeter. He joined Stephens Scown in 2021 after qualifying in 1998.

Stephen acts for Businesses and Individuals and deals with a variety of commercial and corporate disputes.

Examples of Stephen’s recent work include:

• Acting for a Director in an Unfair Prejudice claim where the terms of settlement allowed the client to establish a rival business
• Acting for family members in respect of a claim by the buyers of the family company
• Resolving a partnership dispute involving family members to provide certainty and security for the client in the future.

Stephen is a Director at Taunton East Development Trust Ltd and Vice Chair at Somerset RC Tri.

Outside of work Stephen enjoys Triathlons and Golf.
