Susie is a partner in the rural team and specialises in non-contentious agricultural, equestrian and rural property matters including sales and purchases, partnerships, tenancies, contract farming, sporting rights, equestrian contracts, entitlements and secured lending. Her work focuses on supporting clients in agriculture, landed estates she also acts for private, corporate and institutional clients.

Her work includes:

  • Advising on disposals of multi-million pound farming businesses including tax planning, environmental and overage provisions
  • Acting for lenders in farm refinance
  • Advising institutional investors on acquisitions of investment property
  • Advising landed estates in relation to sporting rights and leases, mines and minerals rights
  • Advising in respect of collaboration agreements including licence, share farming, contracting and tenancy agreements

Susie qualified in October 2003 and is a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (FALA, a member of the Country Land & Business Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
