Simon Morris


Simon is an experienced partner in the corporate team in Exeter, providing general advice to businesses such as investments and funding, high value supply contracts, company sales and purchases and outsourcing.

Qualifying in September 2000, his particular sector specialism is renewables where he advises on buying, selling, developing and funding of renewable energy projects throughout the UK. He also has experience of the manufacturing and food and drink sectors.

His work includes advising:

  • the purchaser on the sale of a manufacturing group of companies
  • a large plant hire company on its terms and conditions
  • a bank on a £3.6 million funding of a solar farm in the south west
  • a client on an investment of £7.5 million into a manufacturing and recycling company
  • a funder on a £2 million facility to a special purpose vehicle funding the purchase of a wind turbine

Simon climbs, runs and cycles in his spare time and also likes to watch rugby, read, go the cinema and play the guitar.
