Jennifer acts for clients on a wide variety of property matters and specialises in agricultural and rural land and property and landed estates, including disposals and acquisitions of farms and land, advising landowners on options and small scale development sites, easements, agricultural tenancy issues (for both landlords and tenants), advising on farming partnerships and other land or asset sharing arrangements in the rural sector and secured lending.

Jennifer qualified in April 2007 and also advises on general property matters including acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and business sales and purchases.
Jennifer is a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (FALA), and member of the Country Land and Business Association.

Her work includes:

  • ¬†Advising on a series of related high value agricultural land and building sales (including residential elements) totalling circa. 1850 acres, to include transfers of Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements, Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, apportionment of Rights of Common, transfer of Feed-in-Tariff on renewable energy technology, sporting rights and easements for access and water supplies with a cumulative value in excess of ¬£5million.
  • Assisting with the refinancing of a large agricultural and commercial land holding of approximately 1,100 acres with a value in excess of ¬£10million.
  • Working with a specialist team in preparing a certificate of title in relation to a substantial extent of both registered and unregistered land to facilitate financing to support the Hemerdon Mine project.

Outside of the office Jennifer is enjoys keeping active, usually in the form of TRX/kettle bell classes and running. She is a supporter of local team AFC St Austell. Jennifer enjoys the outdoor life camping and walking along the coast.
