Amy is a solicitor in the IP, IT and Data Protection team. Amy has a particular interest in Influencer marketing and the regulation of the same.
Amy works with clients assisting and advising on both the legal ramifications and the inherent reputational risk of getting Influencer marketing wrong. Amy is passionate about ensuring that brands and influencers have comprehensive contracts in place to avoid a “contract via DMs (direct messaging) scenario”. Influencer marketing is a relatively new and rapidly evolving area and Amy understands the social media platforms themselves, as well as the relevant laws and regulatory codes concerning the same.
Amy primarily assists Thomas Chartres-Moore in the team with all aspects of Intellectual Property, Information Technology and Data Protection work.
Amy read Law at the University of Exeter and completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. Amy joined Stephens Scown in July 2018 and undertook her training contract at the firm, gaining experience in Intellectual Property, Information Technology and Data Protection, Divorce Finance, Property Litigation and Commercial Dispute Resolution.
