Strategic Planning
Decisions on planning applications must be made in line with the statutory Development Plan unless material considerations indicate otherwise.
The Development Plan is the starting point when considering any planning application or determining an appeal.
What constitutes the Development Plan has been radically altered by the new Localism Act that came into force in November 2011 which introduces neighbourhood planning as an entirely new tier of the planning system.
Our Planning Team has specialist expertise in the Localism Act 2011 and the many very significant changes introduced by it, so if you want up to the minute advice on how to influence planning in your area, please contact us.
