Concept for - Stephens Scown office move in Truro

Regional heavyweight law firm, Stephens Scown, has announced that its two Truro offices will be brought together under one roof at Falcon House this summer, marking an important milestone in the firm’s continued commitment to Cornwall and the communities it serves. The move will consolidate the firm’s presence in the region and create a more collaborative, modern working environment for colleagues and clients.

Having occupied the second floor of Falcon House since June 2025, Stephens Scown will take over the first floor of the building on 1 May, enabling all Truro‑based teams to operate from a single location. Fit‑out work is already underway, with new workspaces, client meeting rooms, and a welcoming ground‑floor reception area due to be created as part of the relocation.

Managing Partner, Richard Baker, commented: “This move represents a significant investment in our people and support for our clients in Cornwall. By bringing our teams together in one place, we’re creating a more connected and collaborative environment that supports our long‑term growth in the region.”

The transition from Osprey House to Falcon House will take place in phases, with all colleagues expected to be based at Falcon House by the end of May. The firm remains committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless relocation process, supported by its Office Services and IT teams.

Dispute Resolution Partner and board member, Brian Dolan said:
“Falcon House gives us a modern, flexible space that reflects the way our people and clients want to work. We are excited to build a fresh, vibrant environment that brings everyone together.”

Meanwhile, fellow board member and the firm’s Sustainability Lead, Verity Slater commented: “As a B Corp Certified and employee-owned law firm, our commitment to our people, our clients and our communities will see the refurbishment continue the sophisticated look and feel of our Exeter and Taunton offices, with the same attention to sustainability to create a long-term home in Truro and at the heart of Cornwall.”

This consolidation marks the next chapter in Stephens Scown’s long-standing presence in Cornwall, having been founded in St Austell in 1938, and reinforces the firm’s commitment to supporting businesses, communities, and clients across the region.
