Coffee and cakes raises hundreds for Macmillan article banner image

We have lent our support to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning by holding events to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in our three offices in Devon and Cornwall on Friday, 26 September.

A number of staff have been busy baking cakes and raising money through other initiatives including a dress down day. We have raised £535 from our events in Exeter, Truro and St Austell.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, with thousands of people across the UK taking part. Last year £20 million was raised and over 150,000 people took part.

Robert Camp, Stephens Scown’s managing partner said: “Our staff have really embraced this event. Almost all of us have been touched by cancer in some way and many of us have seen first hand the vital work Macmillan does. It is great to be part of this massive event and do our bit to raise funds for such an important charity.”
