Tom Biddick joined Stephens Scown in May 2023, working as a partner within the specialist Agricultural and Rural Affairs team.

An experienced solicitor with expertise in private client matters, Tom has strong links to the farming community across the South West, with a special focus on Devon and Cornwall, acting for a number of farmers in the region. He advises clients on all aspects of private client work including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration, with experience of acting for a number of wealthy families and individuals.

He has a particular specialism in Succession and Inheritance Tax Planning for farmers and landed individuals, regularly dealing with Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief queries.

As part of the Stephens Scown Rural team, Tom will be working with many farmers, landowners and estate managers across the South West and further afield, helping to get new projects off the ground while protecting their assets for the next generation.

A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Tom has been recognised as a notable figure in the private client and agricultural practice areas by both Legal 500 and the Chamber Guide to the Legal Profession.

Outside work, Tom can often be found transporting his son around the region to various swimming competitions. He is also the chair and a charity trustee of Exeter City Swimming Club. Tom also enjoys supporting the Exeter Chiefs and attending horse racing events.
