Sophie joined Stephens Scown in September 2026 as an associate in the Real Estate team’s specialist Residential Property subsector.
Since qualifying in 2023, she has built extensive experience in the sector, specialising in:
- Residential property sales and purchases, both leasehold and freehold
- Informal lease extensions
Graduating from Bournemouth University with first-class honours, Sophie is a former committee member and Vice President of the Junior Lawyers Division (Bournemouth and District).
Sophie is known for her practical and solutions-focused approach, supporting clients through complex and high-pressure transactions where the legal work is often only one part of the wider picture. She takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and works proactively to find solutions, resulting in strong relationships, repeat instructions and consistent referrals.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys playing netball and spending time with her new black labrador puppy, Ronnie.
