Sam Moles is the Ownership Engagement Advisor in the Stephens Scown Employee Ownership team. 

Sam helps employee owned businesses to encourage the workforce to think and act like ‘owners’ instead of thinking and acting just like ‘employees’

Sam joined Stephens Scown as a media production specialist in 2017. He became a trustee of the Stephens Scown EOT in 2021 (serving for 3 years). Sam was recognised nationally by the Employee Ownership Association in 2023 when he won the Employee Owner of the Year award due to his outstanding impact on our business’s overall success through embodying good EO culture. 

Sam’s nomination came from his passion and commitment to EO, his entry standing out with multiple examples of him stepping up to join the dots, driving processes, and bringing people together to help build and drive a great EO culture. Additionally, judges commended the work Sam has taken on externally being a visible presence at events and on social media as an EO Champion.

Sam’s experience can provide a tailored structure and bespoke pathway to a more engaged employee experience within the workforce to unlock the benefits that can come with an employee ownership model.
