Lily-Sue joined Stephens Scown in August 2026, working as a paralegal in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team’s specialist Regulatory subsector. 

Working closely with regulatory specialist Steve Panton, she works across a range of areas supporting matters relating to: 

• Appeals against prohibition and improvement notices 

• Statutory and private nuisance 

• Civil sanctions and enforcement undertakings for environmental offences 

• Safeguarding enquiries and public enquiries as they relate to inquests 

Graduating from the University of Plymouth, she spent time on regulatory law issues with a barrister as part of her work experience.  

Outside of work, Lily-Sue enjoys staying active, travel, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
