Lauren joined Stephens Scown in September 2026 working as a trainee solicitor in the Intellectual Property and Data Protection team.  

Her work with the team includes: 

• Supporting the handling of Data Subject Access Requests. 

• Assisting with the preparation and review of Record of Processing Activities. 

• Working with clients on data protection issues and preparing quotations for client matters. 

She graduated from the University of Exeter in July 2024 before spending time as a Court of Protection and Management of Affairs paralegal for 18 months. Lauren is studying for her Masters Degree in Legal Practice and has recently undertaken the SQE.  

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys playing and watching rugby, keeping active at the gym, and cooking, and is currently being kept busy by her new puppy.
