Joey joined Stephens Scown in April 2023 and is a Solicitor Apprentice in the Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Protection team. Joey assists our clients with a range of complex IP and data protection matters such as:

• Delivering IP Clinics
• Drafting IP Audit reports
• Reviewing and advising on IP agreements
• Drafting software agreements
• Conducting privacy impact assessments

Joey has recently delivered a talk to a number of startups and entrepreneurs regarding the foundations of intellectual property and obtaining the right protection.

Prior to joining Stephens Scown, he studied Law at University of Warwick and also worked as a Head-hunter for a legal recruitment agency.

Outside of work, Joey enjoys going to football matches and attending numerous concerts & festivals.
