Joel joined Stephens Scown in July 2026, working as a Solicitor in the Commercial Property Team.  

Joel qualified in 2024, and some of his career highlights include:  

• Assisting with a commercial property portfolio sale valued at over £20 million.  

• Working on key infrastructure within the UK.  

• Assisting major businesses within the Dorset area and wider Southwest.  

Joel specialises in purchases, sales, leases and refinancing of commercial property as well as landlord and tenant work.   

During Joel’s training he worked in Residential Property, Private Client and Property Litigation before choosing to specialise in Commercial Property.  

Outside of work, Joel enjoys going to the gym, attending music festivals, meeting up with friends, and is a keen Derby County supporter.
