Ema joined Stephens Scown in August 2023, working as a paralegal in the Real Estate team’s specialist Social Housing sector.

Since graduating from the University of the West of England, Ema has been providing Legal Aid work in the housing sector, as well as being a housing specialist with Citizens Advice. Part of the work involved research and campaign work aimed at changing government policies.

She has also spent time working as a Court Duty Advisor at the Truro and Bodmin County Courts for the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme, providing free legal advice and assistance throughout hearings.

Outside of work, Ema enjoys spending time with family and walking her dog on the coasts and in the woodlands of west Cornwall.
