Dani joined Stephens Scown in March 2026, working as a paralegal in the Employment team.  

Assisting with advising clients on employment and HR matters through the firm’s HRExpress service, she carries out employment legal research and assists with settlement agreement matters. Other examples of her recent work include: 

• Drafting without prejudice letters and negotiating settlement agreement clauses.  

• Updating employee handbooks in line with best practice and updates in employment legislation.  

• Assisting with advising on matters such as redundancy and legal changes to paternity leave following the Employment Rights Act 2025.  

Dani previously worked at the firm as part of the Social Housing team, where she was one of the firm’s B Corp Champions, before leaving to complete her LLM Legal Practice SQE1&2 masters degree, graduating in October 2025.  

She has volunteered for the Rotary Club of Truro Evolution taking part in tree-planting events, litter picking, and selling poppies as part of the Poppy Appeal. Additionally, Dani volunteered at the Children’s Hospice and has raised money for young people with mental health issues in Cornwall.  

Outside of work, she enjoys going for a walk, then getting coffee and playing cards. She also enjoys swimming, bouldering, and reading.
