Christopher joined Stephens Scown in September 2026, working as a senior associate in the Corporate team’s specialist Insolvency and Restructuring subsector.
Since qualifying in 2018, his expertise covers all matters of insolvency and restructuring, with a specialism in litigious and advisory matters. Across his day-to-day practice, work includes:
- Rights of trustees and liquidators
- Rights of bankrupt individuals and associated third parties
- Transactions at an undervalue
- Preferences and transactions defrauding creditors
His work is supplemented by a general litigation practice which covers commercial disputes, contract disputes, and debt recovery.
Christopher has been ranked in Chambers & Partners for the last four years, and in the Legal 500 rankings for the last three years, the definitive legal guides for the sector.
Outside of work, Christopher is a vocalist for pop-punk band Weak Asleep, and has amassed thousands of streams across various platforms, playing sold out shows and local festivals. He also enjoys running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns with friends and is a keen golfer – being a member at Remedy Oak Golf Course.
