Angel joined Stephens Scown in April 2026, working as a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team’s specialist DebtLink subsector.  

Since graduating, she has specialised in debt recovery. Her work involves: 

• Money claims for landlords and letting agents 

• Working alongside councils on tenant tax arrears 

• Issuing letters before action to tenants in arrears 

An example of her work saw Angel help an elderly landlord obtain a CCJ against a debtor who had refused to pay for nearly three years. Her actions secured full payment for the landlord, plus court fees, which helped in the sale of the property.  

Outside of work, Angel loves to knit, plus spending time with her partner and taking their young daughter to the beach.
