Stephens Scown’s specialist Family team has been shortlisted for Family Law Firm of the Year – Regional at the Family Law Awards 2026.
The recognition follows another outstanding year for the team, which is the largest family law practice in the South West and includes specialist Finance and Children teams. Over the past 12 months, it has maintained top-tier rankings in both Chambers and Legal 500 across Devon and Cornwall, while individual lawyers have been recognised in Doyle’s Guide, Wiselaw, Citywealth and the Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

Over the past year, it has expanded its non-court resolution offering, including solicitor-supported mediation, arbitration and its Resolution Together (One Couple, One Lawyer) service. Together, these approaches help families reach solutions while reducing stress, delay and cost.
The team advises on a wide range of family law matters, including high and ultra-high-net-worth divorces involving businesses, partnerships, trusts and inherited wealth; complex pension arrangements; private and public children disputes; adoption, surrogacy and fertility law; international child relocation and abduction; and cross-border financial proceedings.
The winners will be announced at the Family Law Awards ceremony on 18 November in London. The shortlisting recognises another successful year for Stephens Scown’s Family team and its continued position as one of the UK’s leading regional family law practices.
