PKF Francis Clark, Savills and Stephens Scown LLP are hosting a return visit for George Eustice – Minister for Farming, Fisheries and Food who is guest speaker at an evening seminar with local farmers at Healey’s Cyder Farm near Truro on 11 May.
With Government plans coming to fruition around the shape of the British Agricultural Policy post Brexit, and as we near the end of the consultation period for the Government paper ‘Health and Harmony; The future for Food, Farming and the Environment in a Green Brexit’ the evening will be the ideal opportunity to hear directly from the Minister and to put questions to him.
PKF Francis Clark Agricultural Partner Brian Harvey said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Minister back again. It will be a great opportunity to hear his thoughts on the future of the industry including options available to phase out direct payments, the range of ‘public goods’ which may qualify for support and the possible incentives for industry to invest in innovation and new technologies.”
