We take all data protection complaints seriously and aim to resolve concerns promptly and fairly.

Please include enough information for us to understand your concern and investigate it properly. This may include:

  • your name and contact details
  • matter reference
  • details of your concern
  • any relevant dates or correspondence

You do not need to use any specific wording or form.

What happens next

When we receive your complaint, we will:

  • acknowledge receipt of your complaint
  • assess the issues raised and investigate them proportionately
  • contact you if we need further information
  • provide you with a clear response explaining our findings and any action taken

We aim to respond without undue delay and in line with applicable data protection law.

If you are unhappy with our response

If you remain dissatisfied after receiving our response, you have the right to raise your concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator.
