Leanne is a solicitor in the Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Technology team. She qualified in November 2019 and joined Stephens Scown in 2021.

Leanne has experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of contracts including data protection compliance documentation, supply of goods and services agreements, software licences and consumer terms including e-commerce requirements. She has also assisted in complex data protection matters within niche sectors such as healthcare, tourism, and religious bodies.

She has a keen interest in emerging technologies with a focus on data protection and privacy. She works with her clients to ensure awareness of (and compliance with) their statutory and contractual obligations. She also works collaboratively with her clients to ensure any processes and contractual relationships work in their business interests and purposes.

Outside of work Leanne enjoys history and travel, and often combines both by visiting some of the world’s most fascinating ancient sites. Closer to home, you will often find her by the coast, cycling, spending time with her family and friends or cooking/baking.
