Karis joined Stephens Scown in July 2025, working as a trainee solicitor in the Construction team.

She completed her undergraduate LLB at the University of the West of England, followed by her LLM General Master of Laws at Durham University, and is undertaking her LPC online with the University of Law.

Her work involves advising clients on matters relating to commercial and rural/agricultural property including:

• Construction and engineering disputes
• Drafting and negotiating bespoke construction contracts
• Dealing with design or workmanship defects
• Drafting collateral warranties

Outside of work, Karis enjoys playing tennis and teaching dance, cooking, reading, and listening to podcasts.
