Izzie joined Stephens Scown in May 2025, working in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team’s specialist DebtLink subsector.
With a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature and History from Cardiff University, Izzie undertook the MA Law (Conversion) with The University of Law at The University of Exeter in 2023 and hopes to pursue qualification via the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) in future.
In previous roles, she has worked as a paralegal in Commercial Real Estate and Property Litigation. Izzie’s current work in the DebtLink team includes:
- Drafting Letters Before Action to recover debt.
- Negotiating with Debtors by email and telephone.
- Setting up payment plans in order to process the debt.
- Issuing claims with the County Court.
- Requesting judgement and enforcing judgement, if required.
Outside of work, Izzie enjoys wild swimming, sport climbing and running, having competed in a number of regional half marathons in the past couple of years. On weekends, she loves to host dinner parties for friends and family, allowing her to experiment with new recipes and utilise homegrown produce.
