Farida joined Stephens Scown as a trainee solicitor in September 2024 and is currently part of the Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Technology team. She previously gained experience in the firm’s Real Estate team and the Commercial Dispute Resolution Team.
Currently, Farida’s work involves:
- Research and providing briefs on changes in law regarding AI
- Drafting Intellectual Property Assignments
- Drafting disclosure letters for Intellectual Property warranties in Sale Purchase Agreements
- Drafting training courses on intellectual property for businesses
She completed her LLB in 2022 before going on to complete her LPC in August 2024. While at university, Farida was also a BAME Ambassador, advocating for diversity and inclusion. Alongside her legal studies, she trained as a mediator, strengthening her skills in dispute resolution. Before university, she studied in Cairo and Saudi Arabia.
Before joining Stephens Scown, she worked as a Crown Court witness supporter and as an in-house legal assistant at an EV company.
Outside of work, she enjoys trying new foods and staying active at the gym.
