Chris is a Partner in the Commercial Real Estate team.
Chris qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has been rated as a ‘Leading Partner’ by the Legal 500 guide to the legal profession for commercial property work in the editions published each year from 2015 – 2025.
He has a wide range of commercial property experience and much of his practice involves acting for investors, developers and occupiers of commercial property.
Chris has two main areas of focus, as follows:
- To provide high quality, relationship-led, commercial property legal advice to investors, occupiers and commercial developers nationwide, but with a particular focus on the Dorset and Somerset commercial property markets; and
- To help further develop the firm’s strong South West reach by helping to build the firm’s offering, client base and professional network in Dorset.
Before joining the firm, Chris held law firm leadership roles including Board Member and Team Leader during periods of substantial law firm growth and development.
Chris is a former legal trustee of Julia’s House, a children’s hospice charity operating in Dorset and Wiltshire.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys outdoor activities, and in particular sailing in Poole Harbour and walking and kayaking with his family along the Jurassic Coast.
