Tim is a Partner and Head of Real Estate at Stephens Scown. The Real Estate team comprises over 90 people and spans Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset. Tim strives to maintain a happy, supportive, fun, and productive team. The team is growing both geographically and through its areas of expertise and specialisms.

Tim has a broad experience in property matters. He specialises in high value, complex residential property transactions. He has extensive experience He in Development work, including:

• Site acquisition and disposal
• Freehold and leasehold set up
• Joint ventures
• Promotion agreements
• Option agreements

Working with many high-profile clients, highlights include:

• Acting for the Eden Project in its early days; having tours of the site during the construction phase and seeing it develop into the world-famous attraction. Tim has since enjoyed attending many gigs via the Eden Sessions.
• Cornwall Wildlife Trust – visiting the then owner of Looe Island (St George’s Island), Babs Atkins several times prior to her gifting the Island to the Trust to enable it to be protected as a nature reserve.

Many of Tim’s clients no longer measure organisational from a purely financial viewpoint, but on whether they are making a difference. A defined positive purpose, that purpose being met, and the company’s impact are increasingly of equal importance. In his spare time Tim enjoys music and going to concerts. He is also involved with various charities, both local and national.
