Charlotte Crane

Charlotte works as part of the residential property team based in St Austell. Charlotte is a member of CILEx and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017 and qualifying as a solicitor in March 2019. Charlotte has an LLB Law Degree from Plymouth University and has completed the LPC and this year undertook and successfully completed the PSC. She has worked in residential property for over 5 years.

She spends 100% of her time dealing with all things residential, everything from sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, assents, and deeds of gifts.  The team deals with both unregistered and registered land.

Charlotte has worked on over 200 matters at Stephens Scown including recently helping a client deal with the registration of their property to help them sell the property, after doing the conveyancing themselves when they purchased and forgot to register at the Land Registry. Charlotte dealt with the requisitions including with dealing with the Stamp Duty. The registration needed to be completed within a tight time scale to try to get the sale through - this was all dealt with in time and the sale was completed

In her spare time, Charlotte likes to go for walks with her dog and spending time with friends and family. She likes to keep fit by going to the gym and loves to try new restaurants.

"We were very pleased with the way Charlotte kept in touch and kept up-to-date with everything.  She was very patient with us when delays happened on chain and always did everything she said she would" Patrick and Barbara Saunders
