Entry Clearance Visas and Extension of Stay

If you or a person you are sponsoring are planning to visit the UK or come here to study, work or live and you are not a British Citizen or a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA), then you will require Entry Clearance to obtain a Visa. If you are a non-visa national from for instance the US or Australia you would not require a Visa to come to the UK as a Visitor, but you would still have to ensure you met the Immigration Rules to enter the UK.

Making an application to come to the United Kingdom can be an extremely complicated process and there are many pitfalls. Getting things wrong can be costly and could mean many months of separation from your loved ones when submitting applications as a spouse, fiancé(e), or dependant relative – our Immigration team are here to support and guide you through the process from start to finish.

We have experience in preparing applications for those wishing to come to the United Kingdom and can advise as to the appropriate application, and as to when and where that application must be made.  We can also advise on further leave to remain applications.

We will tell you what documents or other evidence you need to submit with your application, and whether a fee is payable.

Once here, we can advise you whether you can remain and, if so, how you can apply to extend your stay.

If your application has not been successful, we provide a full Appeals service to include preparation of Grounds of Appeal, submitting and progressing Appeals and arranging representation before the Immigration Appeals Tribunal.
