Tyler is a solicitor in the Family team, specialising in the financial aspects of divorce and wealth protection.

Tyler joined Stephens Scown in 2018 after graduating with first class honours from the University of Exeter and initially worked as a Paralegal in our Dispute Resolution Team for three years. She obtained a distinction in the LPC in 2020 and went on to complete her training contract with the firm between 2021 – 2023, qualifying as a solicitor in August 2023.

Tyler advises clients on all aspects of divorce and finances, including:

• The divorce process.
• Negotiating financial settlements to achieve a fair division of the parties’ finances.
• Contested financial remedy proceedings.
• Wealth protection.
• Applications to enforce financial orders; and
• Child maintenance.

Her experience has seen Tyler work on numerous matters, including:

• Assisting on a multimillion-pound financial settlement involving complex business structures and tax considerations.
• Assisting on a matter up to and including the final hearing held at the Central Family Court in London.
• Advising on complex issues such as post-separation accrual and top-up maintenance; and
• Instructing a Pensions on Divorce Expert (PODE) to advise in relation to substantial public sector pension assets.
