Did you spot the breaches?

General Data Protection Regulation 2016

Passed as law in May 2016, we are now in a two year grace period before enforcements begin on 25 May 2018 – businesses have until then to be compliant with the new law. It is a big change in the data protection environment so businesses should start preparing now.

  • Increased enforcement powers
  • Consent harder to obtain
  • “Privacy by default”
  • Pseudonymisation provisions
  • Data subject rights are paramount

In the videos below Jowanna Conboye explains the breaches in the picture and what you need to do to make sure you are compliant.
