The Rural Market

The rural market is unique in many ways having a broader requirement for legal expertise than probably any other area.

As all landowners come under increasing economic and social pressure it is essential they have advisors that really understand the market sector and can provide advice individually tailored to their personal requirements.

Specialist Advice

New technologies, diversification and environmental issues are amongst many new and varied factors that influence decision making as the ownership and management of land moves away from traditional forms. To accommodate this increase in the complexity and range of activities for clients most effectively we have linked four key areas of advice to provide a more comprehensive and coordinated management of our client's legal affairs with our specialist Rural Services Team.

Changes to Single Payment Scheme Entitlements

Please note that DEFRA has confirmed that the new minimum size for making a single farm payment claim in England will be 1 hectare (2.471 acres) from 1st January 2010
