New Build Property

We have extensive experience dealing with newly built property having acted for both developers and buyers.

Buying a new build is exciting but the matters we need to check for you is that the building is covered by a guarantee. It is also important to check that the road to the property and the connection to the drains are covered by agreements with the local authority or water company that these will be publically maintained in the future.

Your moving in date is usually not set when you exchange. Instead you will be notified at a later date when the property is finished and required to pay the balance of the monies usually within 2 weeks. We therefore need to ensure that your mortgage offer will remain valid until the property is to be completed.

Teri Calliech was outstandingly efficient in dealing with the sale of my house and the purchase of my new one.  In my opinion she went far beyond what would be expected in the circumstances, and kept me informed all the way through the process, making it far less stressful than I expected.  I would thoroughly recommend her to friends and expect to use her services in the future!
