Children in Care
The Local Authority may take children into care or place children with other family members if they feel the children are at risk of significant harm. If you are a mother, father, adult sibling or grandparent we can advise you on your position.
CAFCASS (the Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service) provide an excellent guide detailing further information about care proceedings.
In addition to representing parents, grandparents and adult siblings, we regularly represent children within Court proceedings. We have significant experience of representing children on instructions from their Court appointed Guardian. Please contact one of our Family Solicitors if you are a Children's Guardian and would like us to represent you in Court proceedings.

This six-partner team is spread across offices in Truro, Exeter and St Austell. Its highly skilled lawyers handle some of the region's most complicated financial cases, and also undertake a range of children work. Sources say: "They have built up a very good reputation for money work involving businesses and farms." One impressed observer noted that "they are the best in the South West" for farming cases.
