If you are not a British citizen and you are from outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and you are planning to come to the United Kingdom to work or to study, then you should obtain specialist immigration advice.
There have been extensive changes to the Rules that apply to adult and child students, and also to those who wish to come to the United Kingdom to work.
From 31 March 2009, the United Kingdom's points based system for migrants was expanded to include adult and child students. This will mean that both students and workers from outside of Europe will have to meet the stricter criteria of the points based system.
For further information on business applications, you should refer to the Immigration Business Section of this website.
We can assist you with your application and we can assist your education provider with the visa letter which is required with your application. We also advise students about the type of visa that they will need, how and where to apply and how to apply to extend their stay in the United Kingdom for the purpose of continuing their studies.
We can also advise you about the other documents that you will need to submit with your application, about your rights to work whilst you are here as a student and whether you are entitled to come to the United Kingdom in order to attend a course to prepare you for study.
