Phillip is a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution team and has been with Stephens Scown since 1989. Phillip specialises in private client litigation, with particular expertise in contentious probate, property disputes between co-habitees and other claims arising out of joint ownership of property.

He also specialises in Partnership disputes, particularly where a death or a separation has occurred.

Phillip has a considerable experience of progressing claims in the Chancery Division of the High Court and of representing his clients during the process of mediation. 

Phillip lives in Exeter with his family.  He is a keen cyclist.  He also enjoys Dartmoor and other hill walking and regularly participates in long distance walking events.  He is also a regular swimmer and runner.
