A new international guide to the most highly regarded advisers in private wealth management, which has just been published, names Stephens Scown partner Liz Allen as among the best family and matrimonial lawyers in the country.
The fourth annual 2009 Citywealth Leaders List identifies Liz as one of only two prominent family and matrimonial lawyers in the whole of the South West, and the only one south of Bristol.
According to the Citywealth guide, those listed are "generally acknowledged to possess a sterling reputation for expertise in their respective field, first-class client service and sophisticated services for wealthy families and individuals."
The publication was expanded this year to include family and matrimonial lawyers for the first time.

In the latest edition of Chambers, the respected independent guide to the legal profession, the Stephens Scown family law team is top-ranked for client service with Liz singled out as one of the top divorce lawyers in the South West. Liz and the team are also top-ranked in the Legal 500, another independent legal guide.
In compiling Citywealth's annual list, extensive research was carried out at the end of last year and beginning of 2009 including interviews, meetings, telephone contact and emails. All names were put forward confidentially by private clients or peer recommendation.
