UK Minerals Forum

The UK Minerals Forum aims to draw together all key stakeholders, to debate and inform government and the public on the prudent use, sustainable management and supply of UK minerals.

The Forum has a broad membership drawn from industry, regulators, green groups and government.  It holds regular meetings and convenes working groups to research and report on critical issues.

CBI Membership

We are pleased to announce that Robert Camp, the head of Stephens Scown's Minerals Team, has become a member of the CBI Minerals Group.

The CBI Minerals Group represents the minerals industry and its interests to the Government, the EU and the country as a whole.  By doing so it hopes to promote the role and importance of the UK minerals sector, champion the UK minerals industry's ongoing ability to meet the development needs of 'UK plc' in a sustainable manner and influence proposed UK and EU legislation and regulation, which significantly affect the minerals industry.
