Porthleven, on the South Coast of Cornwall, is soon to be home to a new Rick Stein restaurant and several Cornish firms have advised on the deal, including Scott Burridge Commercial and leading local law firm Stephens Scown LLP.
The new Stein restaurant will be sited in the old China Clay Building, a Grade II Listed structure within the historic fishing village of Porthleven, which was renovated to a shell specification by the Trevor Osborne Property Group. A newly formed bar restaurant within the building gained an instant recognition for providing quality food and drink in a stunning location.
Jeremy Beeching of Scott Burridge Commercial who brokered the agreement with the Rick Stein Group said: “We are delighted that Rick and Jill Stein have chosen to come to Porthleven, which is rapidly gaining interest as a tourist and foodie haven, and pleased that he has seized this unique opportunity to acquire this restaurant business.
